Please read through these contra-indications before your treatment. If you have any of these allergies or medical conditions, please call the salon on 01932 84000 and we may be able to offer a treatment more suited to you.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD THE BELOW TREATMENTS WITH US BEFORE OR HAD THEM WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS THEN YOU MUST HAVE A PATCH TEST

Treatments that require a patch test and contra indications:

  • Tinting treatments – 24 hrs prior
  • HD Brows – tinting patch test required 24 hours prior . Use of retinol and tanning products to be stopped 1 week prior
  • Lash extensions – 24 hours prior
  • Eyelash lift (LVL) – 48 hours prior
  • Laser & IPL Treatments – 24 hours prior
  • Semi-permanent make-up – 1 week prior
  • Spray tan – recommended if pregnant – 48hrs prior

Dermaplaning contra indications:

  • Use of Retinol or Vitamin A within the last week
  • Microdermabrasion / chemical peel treatments within the last week
  • Cold sores within the last month
  • Sun exposure within the last week

PH Formula contra indications:

  • Roaccutane or Accutane within the last 3 months
  • Cold sores within the last month
  • Cosmetic injections within the last 2 weeks
  • Allergies to citrus, aloe vera, aspirin
  • Sun exposure within the last week
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

Facial waxing contra indications:

  • Use of Retinol or Vitamin A within the last week
  • Roaccutane or Accutane within the last 6 months
  • Microdermabrasion / chemical peel treatments within the last week

Salon deposits and cancellation fees:

  • To secure your appointment a 50% deposit will be required
  • 24-hour cancellation policy applies. After 24 hours the deposit is non-refundable, any Monday appointments must cancel before 4pm Saturday
  • For any missed Ergoline Sunbed appointment £5 or 5 minutes will be deducted from your deposit or course
  • For any missed Sun Angel Sunbed appointment £10 will be deducted from your deposit

Arriving to the salon:

  • Face masks are required for all close contact treatments
  • Your temperature will be taken upon arrival – please note anyone with a high temperature will be unable to have their treatment
  • Please arrive on time to your appointment as we have increased the time of every treatment by 15 minutes due to our cleaning regime as well as impacting other clients
  • Sanitise your hands on arrival, all clients having manicures and full body massages please wash your hands before treatments
  • If you would like to purchase any of our products, please ask a member of staff to assist you.

Client Health:

  • We ask all of our clients to please take a lateral flow test 24 hours prior to your appointment so if you need to reschedule due to a positive result we are able fill your appointment – if your result is positive less than 12 hours prior to your appointment, we reserve the right to deduct the reserve service amount deposit 
  • Face masks are optional however in close contact appointments your therapist may ask you to wear a mask

Please reschedule your appointment if:

  • You have tested positive for coronavirus
  • You have any symptoms of coronavirus. The main symptoms are: High temperature and a new, continuous cough, and/or loss of sense of smell or taste
  • If you or anyone in your household is displaying any symptoms of coronavirus and/or self-isolating

Facials

Hydra Facial contra indications:

  • Allergy to shellfish
  • Allergies to aspirin or honey
  • Roaccutane or Accutane within the last 6 months
  • Cold sores within the last month
  • Cosmetic injections within the last 2 weeks
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active eczema on the treatment site
  • Sun exposure within the last week

Dermaplaning contra indications:

  • Use of Retinol or Vitamin A within the last week
  • Microdermabrasion / chemical peel treatments within the last week
  • Cold sores within the last month
  • Sun exposure within the last week

PH Formula contra indications:

  • Roaccutane or Accutane within the last 6 months
  • Cold sores within the last month
  • Cosmetic injections within the last 2 weeks

If you are currently using Retinol, vitamin A or any acne treatment please call the salon for recommended advice before having any facial. Your deposit will not be refunded if you fail to make us aware in advance of your appointment.

Waxing

  • Roaccutane/Accutane within the last 6 months
  • Retinal used within 2 weeks

LVL Lashes

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR LVL LASHES IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT

For the first 24 hours, make sure your LVL lashes don’t get wet and avoid any steam, swimming, or washing your face with hot water. It’s vital for maintaining that beautiful lift while your lashes lock into place.

Botox and Filler

If you have had a cold sore we can not carry out any botox or filler treatment on you until two weeks after it has fully healed.

Cancellation Policy, Deposits & Late Arrivals

24-hour cancellation policy applies –  We understand that clients may need to change or cancel appointments, should you do so we ask for 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of the reserve service amount.

No shows will be fully charged at the reserve service amount.

Deposits – we reserve the right to take deposits from clients. Group bookings, treatments that are over 60 minutes and clients who have not shown up or cancelled last minute previously will be subject to a 50% deposit of the reserve service amount. Deposits are non-refundable subject to our cancellation policy.

During the Christmas period and summer peak periods we reserve the right to take full payment up front for all treatments and our cancellation policy will be extended to 48 hours’ notice.

Please note that if you are late for your appointment your treatment time will be reduced and the therapist may be unable to carry out the treatment for you at all and will therefore be subject to our cancellation policy.

No shows and cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in treatments being deducted from your course.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or used for any specialist treatments.

Course Terms & Conditions

All courses must be paid up front.

All courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All sunbed courses must be used within 12 months of purchase.

All courses that are on offer must be used within the limited time stated.

No shows and cancellations less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in treatments being deducted from your course.

Treatments & Prices

Our prices are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to change a treatment or course at any time.

If you change your booking on the day with the therapist, you will be charged for the treatments you receive which may differ from the services you booked.

Patch Tests

If your treatment requires a patch test then this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse to carry out a treatment if a patch test has not been done. A disclaimer may be signed if the client is happy to carry out the treatment without a patch test and this is done at the clients’ own risk.

Retail Products

We do not accept refunds or exchanges on retail products unless faulty.

Specialists Treatments

All specialist treatments and therapists are separate businesses to The Beauty of Weybridge and only accept cash payments. A patch test and a £50 non-refundable cash deposit is required 4 weeks prior to all semi-permanent make-up appointments.

Salon Etiquette

We ask that mobile phones are switched onto silent mode for the consideration of other clients, especially in our Queen’s Road salon where massages and facials take place.

Health Conditions

Please notify us of any health conditions that may affect your choice of treatment including allergies, skin infections and injuries.

Pregnancy

Please notify us if you are pregnant or breast feeding as it may affect your choice of treatment. Sunbeds are strictly prohibited during pregnancy. Pregnancy massages are available for those who are at least 12 weeks pregnant.

Valuables & Lost Property

The Beauty of Weybridge does not accept any liability for any lost valuables on the premises at any time. All lost property will be kept for 1 month, if they are not claimed within this time they will be donated to charity.
